First Year Cleveland’s mission is to mobilize the community through partnerships and a unified strategy to reduce infant deaths and racial disparities.

Our Vision

Every baby born in Cuyahoga County will celebrate a first birthday. 

First Year Cleveland fulfills its mission and vision by creating a common understanding of our county’s infant mortality problem and leading the development and coordination of strategies to solve it.
